On behalf of the Whitney Benefits Board of Trustees, I am pleased to announce Whitney’s recent commitment to support the new Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences at Sheridan College. Preparations for this project have been underway for several years as Sheridan College strategically seeks to meet the needs of the local industry. This project will move Sheridan forward as a manufacturing hub, providing training and education in composites, 3-D printing, and more. With plans to open in Fall 2024, the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences will benefit the Sheridan workforce, economy, educational landscape, and the community as a whole. Whitney Benefits is pleased to partner with Sheridan College to provide over $2 million in funds to match State of Wyoming monies received for this capital remodel project. In line with the wishes of Edward A. Whitney to fund a college in Sheridan, these funds are tentatively being provided through a combination of a grant and a land purchase. The 26 acres of land that will be purchased from Sheridan College will be used in line with the fiduciary excellence for which Whitney Benefits is known. While there are no current plans for this property, it will be used to benefit our community for years to come. Roy Garber President of the Board of Trustees Whitney Benefits
